Strong emotions such as fear, anger, helplessness and frustration may also overwhelm a victim. Many victims have no idea how to resolve their situation, and whom to turn to for guidance. That is why we have partnered with industry expert Identity Theft 911, America's leading identity theft solutions company, to provide solutions that give you and your family the information needed to reduce your risk and protect you against identity theft. Your I.D. Advocate will promptly and properly notify credit and law enforcement agencies as well as other relevant institutions removing the daunting and exhausting task for anyone trying to resolve the crisis on their own.

Credit Union West provides our members and their family members with highly experienced identity theft resolution experts, along with proactive resources and ongoing education — at no additional cost. Should you become a victim of identity theft, a personal advocate will work with you one-on-one, every step of the way until your identity is restored. You’ll receive the following:

  • A personal advocate who works with you one-on-one, start-to-finish to restore your identity
  • Systematic notification to credit bureaus, creditors and collectors, government agencies, and all other relevant parties
  • All phone calls and preparation of documents needed to resolve your identity theft
  • Comprehensive case file creation to assist law enforcement and insurance
  • A 3-in-1 credit report
  • A full year of weekly credit monitoring
  • A full year of fraud monitoring for victims of true identity theft
